WELCOME BACK ROCKETS!

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, thank you for visiting our website.

Our goal was to fundraise $100,000 by February 29, 2024:

We raised over $121,000!!!

ARE YOU READY TO ROCK IT?!

The Mary Lin Education Foundation allows our school, teachers and faculty to access resources to allow for the best possible education environment for our Mary Lin Rockets.

We are so proud of our "Little Rockets."

There is always a continued and critical need for additional resources. Which makes our work at the Mary Lin Educational Foundation more important than ever!

Our Mission:
To help every Mary Lin "Rocket" reach for the stars by funding professional development, curriculum enrichment, new technology and environmental upgrades not covered by the district budget. Because when great teachers have first-rate resources at their fingertips, the possibilities are limitless.

The Mary Lin Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created in 2008 to support long-term goals and critical resource needs for Mary Lin Elementary (home of the ROCKETS), an Atlanta Public School serving 640+ students in the Candler Park, Inman Park, Lake Claire and Little 5 Points neighborhoods. In 2016, the MLEF launched the ROCKET FUEL FUND, a major annual giving campaign to ensure the ongoing academic success of our students and the long-term financial health of our school.

Our Board works with the school's leadership team to spotlight projects, identify resource needs and fund capital improvements not covered by the district budget. Successful past projects include bringing innovative technology into every classroom, offering teacher trainings in cutting-edge methodologies like Orton Gillingham and Greg Tang Math, providing intervention systems in math and ELA and funding the Outdoor Classroom! Check out what we achieved this past year!

The MLEF and the PTA work together to provide an exemplary educational environment and positive community experience for Mary Lin students and their families. Visit our FAQ page to learn more about  how we differ and how we compliment each other.
